Department of Quality Assurance
Managing the quality of the institution's technical programs and non-academic services is a world-wide adopted practice and is considered a vital tool for ensuring that institutions and their offerings are effective, transparent, internationally comparable and fit for purpose. The institution is strongly committed to maintaining high TVET standards by enhancing the quality of its activities including teaching and learning, research, community engagement and support services. This is achieved through the refinement of its quality assurance processes which enables the institution to continuously improve, control, review and redefine its actions so as to attain its goals.
The Quality Assurance department is responsible for the following:
Manage the administration associated with new courses validations, course reviews.
Developing and Recommending Training tools and Materials.
Conducting desk validation and review for all courses.
Serve as point of contact between the Institution and the NTA/NQA as well as partner institutions to ensure quality training.
Conducting Industry Needs Assessments.
Undertaking audits of active training programs for possible benchmarking.
Maintaining accurate records of all course schedules and dates of review.
Liaison with Moderators/Examiners/Instructors as required by the relevant Authority.
Developing Quality Assurance procedures including Delivery Schedules, Timetables and Industrial attachments in line with existing standards.
